How To Prepare African Egg Fried Rice



 This meal is rich of proteins. The main ingredient here is the eggs and breast chicken. The food is a preparation of two people. The ingredients can be easily available on your local grocery, if you have any other spices you can just add on top. So let check out how to go about it.

The following are the ingredients that you are supposed to have.

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Green pepper
  • Carrot
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Chicken breast/ fillet chicken
  • Onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Margarine
  • Spices (optional)

How to prepare 
Remove all the bones from the chicken and cut the meat into small julienne cut. Repeat the same to the green pepper and carrot. Also chop the onions for preparation.

Fried eggs
 The following procedure is to nicely fry your eggs until they turn into golden brown colour. When ready, cut them in julienne style and keep aside till ready to use.

Now that you have hot water on your side, its time to prepare your rice. Take a sufuria and add one tablespoon of oil together with onions and garlic. Fry the onions and garlic for 5 minutes in a over high heat until the onions turn to transparent. Add your rice, stir for 3 minutes then add your salt.

After frying the rice, add the hot water, stir and cover the sufuria.

For now we are almost done with the rice, so we need to prepare the chicken. Take a frying pan, add the margarine for shallow frying, when melted add the carrots, green pepper, together with the fillet. After 3-5 minutes, you can now add your soy source and spices if you have. When ready, keep them aside.

Now we go back to the rice, its almost ready by now. By now there should be very minimum presence of water inside it. Now take your fried fillet and add it into the rice, and also add the fried eggs too. Mix them until the are uniform then cover your sufuria.

In just a few minutes the food would be ready. You can prepare a salad to lighten up the meal.
