Importance of Folic Acid And Which Foods Contains It
Folic acid (Vitamin B9) is a crucial kind of vitamin that
must be consumed by everyone in order to stay healthy. A deficiency of this
vitamin is a major cause of falling off of hairs. Doctors usually prescribe
pregnancy mothers with folic acid pills because it helps in producing new
healthy cells, proper development of foetus. Without it can cause major birth
defects especially to the brain and spine. In fact to combat this, doctors
usually advice women to consume folic acid a year before conception.
Folic acid refers to the man-made version of the water
soluble vitamin Folate. It is synthesized in large numbers in forms of tablets
and capsules to help people meet their daily requirement. Likewise, the Folate
can be found naturally in our foods which include:

#4 Melon. The best lemon which is rich in vitamin B9 is the
honey dew melon. This is because it has the highest level of sugar than any
known melon out there. It is loaded with vitamin C, folate and calcium. The
seeds are also beneficial because they contain antioxidants, vitamin A,C, and E
together with fibre.
#5 Lemon. Lemon has been used since ancient times to cleanse
the digestive systems. Lemons are rich
in vitamin C, antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties.
#6 Meat. Meat contain folate and iron. The liver and kidney
are the major source for this element.
#7 Orange. Just like lemon, this family contain high source
of folate which reduces level of homocysteine. In short it helps in lowering
the blood pressure from our bodies.
